The idea of KAMELZIMMER, an aesthetically open, nomadically travelling project space, was developed by Marisa Growaldt as part of the rhizomatically conceived art project I'm here by mistake at the end of February 2006. In addition to works by Michaela Mück & Gerhard Veismann, Elinor Mora, Peter Kozek and Viktor Jaschke, Growaldt exhibited her first KAMELZIMMER installation and the first KAMELZIMMER video.

 

Since then, Growaldt has been inviting two or three guests to KAMELZIMMER at irregular intervals to dream up future projects together.

 

Growaldt also claims the term KAMELZIMMER as the title of her own productions.
